About the Journal

Journal of Progressive Social Inquiry (JPSI) is a scholarly journal, that focuses on purposeful, future-oriented studies within the social sciences. Our journal is built on one belief: social research is not only something that observes the society but it also challenges it, understands it, and even transforms it in a positive way. Inequality, identity, governance, culture and social change are critical issues in discussions in the world today, more than any other time. JPSI has been here to offer an intellectual, non-violent, and welcoming place in which scholars could share ideas that mattered - ideas based on research and related to the real experiences of human beings.
We invite the participation of researchers, educators, practitioners, and policy thinkers who share the commitment to rigorous inquiry and productive conversation.

What Makes JPSI Different
The Journal of Progressive Social Inquiry is founded on the values of being clear, relevant, and honest. We also appreciate the importance of critical analysis rather than unjustified complexity and promote writing that is both easy to understand and does not jeopardize
academic integrity.
Our editorial team collaborates well with the authors to have a positive and supportive publication experience. Each and every manuscript is considered to ensure high standards of scholarship without disrespecting various research traditions and views.
